About the Role
As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Data Synergy, you will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into visualizations, and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
Conduct data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in collaboration with IT teams.
Develop and maintain data models, calculations, and DAX formulas.
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in business intelligence and data visualization technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Power BI Developer.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard design.
Experience with SQL and data manipulation languages.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
Experience with other business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
